The javascript tool to disable the right click menu works well in IE and Opera. But in Firefox I still can open the right click menu in Windows Vista (in Windows 7 it indeed is disabled in Firefox). How can I solve this? For example: http://members.tele2.nl/yjberben/

Yes, I know. But: see my reply on 18 Oct 2010.

Why should one "disable the rightclick"?
I mean, if you want to protect the "things" or the code on the site, it is meaningless in itself. Anyone who knows a bit off (Windows) computers knows how to get to these things anyhow. You can try a Ubuntu computer, you can dig in the browser history et cetera.
So why?

I also use 3.6.10 aon a XP pc and here the right click script works.

Thank you for looking at it! I am using 3.6.10 on both computers. So I do not think a bug can cause it. And I know disabling right click can not protect the page. But it makes downloading pictures etc. (which is nog prefered on some websites) more difficult. Maybe some people (with for example less knowledge) will stop trying then ;-).

I'm using FireFox 3.6.10 in my home Vista PC and the "Disable Right Click" script works perfectly. It is probably a FireFox bug in some version. I searched on the internet but this seems to be the only way to disable the right click.

In every case you cannot protect your page by disabling right click because a user can always save the page and watch it ;-)

In windows 7 PC it also does here. But in Windows Vista it unfortunately doesn't
