I am trying to place a transparant graphical rectangle (50%) over an swf movieclip (menu) when i activate the transparant rectangle the swf is not shown transparant in the rectangle (swf on background), but it is completely hidden. How can I achieve this? Take a look at the example on: http://www.woerdevelop.nl/ontwikkel/transparancy/index.htm

Siemens, try to enable the PNG-32 support when exporting the Page into D.H.W.E.; this should do the trick so you'll be able to place the transparent rectangle over the .swf |

Well, I changed the design so the rectangle wasn't over the swf anymore :)

As far as I know it can't be done.
I tried it in the past and went for another design... |
