I wanted to play a MIDI sound file on my opening web page. Only thing is, when people jump around to other pages on my site the music will shut off. If I put that same MIDI on all the pages it will play but 're-start' everytime you switch from page to page on the site.
Would it be best to have a little tiny window open up with the music? That way, it will keep playing and playing and the user can click from page to page with the music never stopping. I would like to have an option to CLICK HERE to shut off music, and then that would close the small window.
Just wanted to ask to see what you would reccomend I do.

I think that using a background music is not a good idea in internet... Personally i hate sites that play music 
But if you want do that you have 2 possibilities:
1- create a hidden frame with Frontpage that play the music and a visible one that contain your page createt with Dynamic HTML Editor.
You have to program option to shut down the music using DHTML.
2- your idea is good!  |
