Posted - 14 Apr 2009 : 10:32:28 The external HTML editor will be able only to modify some parts of the generated D.H.E. page, like the integrated HTML one. |

Posted - 11 Apr 2009 : 22:13:10 Only one thing. In the DHE "HTML-editor" the user can only add something "where is doesn't hurt". If they can use an other editor they can actually (sorry) "**** up" the generated code. How to prevent that? I mean, it must not be possible to "spoil" what DHE creates. |

Posted - 10 Apr 2009 : 12:36:30 Maybe something like: - The user can choose a editor, which het wants to use. - When he wants to edit the HTML, DHE creates a temp-file. - DHE opens the temp-file with the choosen editor. - The user performs his trick an closes the editor (saving or not) - DHE imports the temp-file. And again an other happy DHE-user has been created. |

Posted - 10 Apr 2009 : 08:50:27 Yes, but how to pass the HTML data to the Notepad++ program and to retrieve it after having closed the program? I'll check it. |

Posted - 08 Apr 2009 : 10:17:29 Hello Gentlemen,
Maybe Notepad++ would be suitable for this purpose. You can find it here: http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/uk/about.php Check the item: Syntax Highlighting and Syntax Folding Notepad++ is small but powerfull. |
