HAPPY NEW YEAR!

When I use a textfield in a form, the size of it increases when you open this form in a browser. To see what I mean; just make a form with a textfield in it. Then make a standard rectangle of the same size as the textfield beneath it. In a preview you will see that the textfield is bigger now then the rectangle. Can this have anything to do with the upgraded version of DHE?

Petran,

I found the problem;

this is due to a modify I made to the DOCTYPE declaration for fixing a problem for another user.
This causes the problem with textfields.

I'll put an option on the next version in order to avoid the generation of this second line because it is causing other problems...
By default this line will not be generated.

Do you have an example to look at online?
petran Posted - 05 Jan 2009 : 09:48:00
@ jtarin; I use version 4.3.30, in the version you use the problem does not show up. In the newer version my forms get massed up.

@ Davide; I tried to use the Fix browser font zoom with no result. In all the browsers I tested (FF, IE, Chrome, LunaScape) my textfield is growing 7 px in height and 5 px in length.

@ All; Could anyone please test this in your configuration?

Or disable the Zoom on your browser ;-)

Petran, this occurs because you are using the "Zoom" feature in your browser.
Try to use the new feature present in version 4.3 --> Page properties / Other --> Check and Fix browser font zoom
