I have a number of jpg images which are all about 9 kb. I am using the slidepic function in DHE but it converts the jpg images into png images which are each about 57 kb ebenthough I have the Export Options set to Automatic (maintain orginal transparancy)!!!

This is way to large. I don't understand why DHE converts these images into png in the first place but converting them and increasing their size by almost 50 KB is just ridiculous!

Is there a way around this so I can keep my own images?

Regards,

Martin

I'll check the code; If I remember correctly the "Superb" method applies a 90% quality; maybe I should add a new option (if the graphic library I uses supports it)

But when I do that it just doesn't seem to export the pictures in the same quality as the original even when I set it to superb.

If you are using .jpg images (which don't support transparency) simply choose "jpg" as export method
