Posted - 19 Jun 2008 : 02:32:07 I have used the RSS object on my home page; I have 4 articles that I have put in the "description" part of each item. I have uploaded the index.html page to my site.
When I subscribe to the feed, the browser (Opera) shows the all the descriptions in one page, then does the normal feed in another tab. Firefox renders the way I would expect it to; IE displays the XML (I guess IE is too lame to be able to have a RSS reader).
Any way to get rid of the display/rendering of rss1.xml? |

Posted - 20 Jun 2008 : 03:40:03 Porky: does this act just like a RSS reader, in that it will check for the latest articles, etc? With this, do I even need to use the RSS reader embedded within Opera, Netscape and Firefox? |

Posted - 19 Jun 2008 : 14:12:48 Browsers have a different management of RSS feeds; there are many programs to display RSS feed and everyone works in different way. This because a RSS feed is an information file (like a text file). |
