I orginally added some .php code to a page and changed the file extension to .php; then I generated it.

I removed the .php code, changed the export file extension back to html and exported the page. It generates a file extension of .html.

However, when I click on the menu button (which has a link to the "page.dhe", it generates a call to a .php file.

Sure hope this makes sense. :D

It's gone now... I think changing the link a few times did the trick! Thanks, jtarin...

Try changing the link once more, but this time take notice of the "characters" you highlight to select. Sometimes if you make a link and decide later to change or eliminate it, a character or so can be left unselected, unknowingly, and the link remains.

Yes, to both questions... if I didn't save it, it wouldn't have exported... and I changed the link because I no longer needed .php

Did you change the link in the text editor that you made your menu item in and save it as Davide suggested?

Have you saved the page before exporting?
