A friend of mine encountered this:

DHE 1.9
- On his laptop with Vista: No problem
- On his desktop with XP: Install OK. When he starts it, he only sees it in a flash and then . . . nothing.

Does anyone know this problem?

P.S. I'm trying to pursuade him to buy 4.*

Tell him to uninstall and then turn off "system restore"...restart then install. See if that will provide the solution.

I would suggest him to check its antivirus, firewall and registry, then retry to reinstall the program.

Hello Edigital,

I was hoping for the big secret solution. Something like:
Go to start, open the ????, press on the ??? and click OK.
Now make a little dance and everything works, even under XP.

Hi Londen!

You have two ways..

Pursuade him to buy 4** or he must update desktop operating system to vista..!
