hello,

I have a strange problem with a website that I am making for someone else:

The "special letters" (german ?,?,? ) are shown correctly in Internet Explorer but not in Mozilla Firefox. I looks very strange.

Weird is , that when I preview the site in DHE via firefox , everything is ok .
The font is Arial.
Does anyone koe a solution for this ?

many thanks

Toasti

Hi,
thanks for the hint, I uploaded the site on my server testwise and the problem has been gone.
Now I must try to convert the text "graphically" .
Thans again.
Greetings

If you think its possibly server side...upload the offending page to your site where the letters appear correctly and see if that is the problem.

You could also try to make the letters graphically...code-independent.

hello,
it doesnt work :(
whatever code I take - the letters ?,?,? doesn't show correctly.

Its strange because another site which I have on a different server does show the letters correctly.
Is it possible that the fault is on serverside ? That would also explain that the sitepreview with Mozilla (local preview) looks good.

Thanks in advance
Toasti
