Hello all.
I need some help. If you look at this page:
http://www.webdesignersheaven.com/kernadviesz/coaching.html
you can see that it is divided in several rectangle blocks. Between these blocks there is 3 pixels whitespace (exactly the same ammount of space as the white line around the whole page, which is actually a complete white rectangle placed as a background) which might not be viewable that easy but trust me it's there .
When I add more text I would like it so that the white space between the pinkish rectangle with the text on it, the black rectangle at the bottom and the white line at the bottom of the page (which is the same line around the whole page) move so the distance between it all, stays the same.
This way I don't need to move every single thing by hand and keep lining everything up at 3 pixels distance which is kind of a lot of work.
Does anyone know of a way to achieve this?

Make a textbox with a 3 px white border and a pinkish bg.
Make it the desired width (so it replaces the white background).
Give the text a margin so you'll have some space at the sides.
If you add text the textbox grows and all you have to do is align the black box to the bottom. |

That is a rather smart solution to part of my problem!!! Never thought of that.
Now all I have to do is find out how I can get it all to move down as soon as I start adding more text.

Oke I see and what if you gave the black rectangle a 3 pixel white border? Then you could align it to the bottom of the white bg. |

Not if I start typing a new load of text. This text moves down beneath or over the black rectangle. So afterwards I need to make the white background longer to create space fot the black rectangle and then try to work out where the pinkish rectangle ends and make the black rectangle take three steps down.
Then I also need to make the white border at the bottom again three pixels high.
It's a rather precise and tedious job. Besides that seeing as the color white and the pinkish color are very alike I need a magnifier to see where the pink ends and the white starts making it even more difficult and tedious.

Pfoeh, good one.
I don't think its possible because you'll have to increase the height of the white background when you add more text.
