Posted - 01 Oct 2007 : 15:39:50 Hi there, Newly joined your forum! I have been using your wonderful program for about a week now and it is a truly marvellous thing, you can just get on with designing without worrying about whether your content is going to look right or not.
I am in the process of updating my website. Haven't uploaded the new website yet but am almost finished with the new one.
It is a website that has all the content on one page and the content is accessed by moving the cursor over the navigation buttons.
Everything is working well the only problem is I have created a .swf file that is initally hidden and when I move the cursor over the navigation button called "Services" I want it to start and when I move off the button stop (or to be more accurate reset the animation)
Getting it to show and hide is working okay the problem is. The animation does not reset, i.e. if I move the cursor off the services button and move it back the animation does not start from the beginning but from where it was when I moved the cursor off the animation.
CAn anyone help me tidy up this problem. Many thanks....
Again thank you for this program it is simply excellent!
Regards david. |

Posted - 04 Oct 2007 : 15:10:43 Hello davide thanks for replying, yes i tried the stop play commands but they didnt work, i worked round it a bit by controlling the swf through a clickable button and then including a link to the homepage to refresh the page which seemed to work.
Ive included a link to my website in the websites created by D.H.E. section, Id be grateful if anyone could have a look and give comments suggestions etc regards david |

Posted - 02 Oct 2007 : 08:49:53 Are you using the "Play" and "Stop" actions on D.H.E. events? They are generic Javascript events, maybe someone expert in Flash can help you ... |
