Posted - 12 Jun 2007 : 17:30:27 When i work on the pages within a project it often happens that i keep uploading the same page over and over again, with only minor changes. I think it would be very convenient when you could choose to upload only pages that were changed within the last 15, 30 or 60 minutes or so. Now you can only choose to upload the pages that were changed 'today'. When i work on a site i often do that very intense, so that 'today' becomes equal to 'all files' very soon.
Just a suggestion.
(This should be in the wishlist. Don't know what went wrong with this posting.) |

Posted - 20 Jun 2007 : 08:41:37 The feature has been created for the version 4.0; maybe I can popup a window if an open file is about to be exported ;-) |

Posted - 19 Jun 2007 : 13:49:34 Hallo, I always have to Save files and project before publishing it (changes will only then be uploaded to site) It would be vey convinient if this was automatacally suggested by the program (popup) every time you publish!

Posted - 15 Jun 2007 : 08:43:37 Yes, you are right, I've already made many changes to the upload manager, now it's better; I'll try to include these new features in the version 4.0 |

Posted - 14 Jun 2007 : 19:03:16 Maybe it is an idea if, when publishing, the user could use a button that only selects the changed files (since last publish) in the project. To be able to do so, the program must make a list of alle uploaded files including their date/time of saving and compare that list with the new situation. Could be done I think, the upload proces will be smaller and faster.
Bye, Londen.

Posted - 14 Jun 2007 : 10:23:23 That's ok Davide.
To help you start thinking: When exporting files you can choose for 'selected files only'. If this also would be possible when you are going to publish, it would solve the problem i think. |

Posted - 13 Jun 2007 : 11:07:24 Ok now I understand... I also had this problem in the past ;-) Actually I don't know how to implement such as feature; I suppose we should wait the releasing of the version 4.0 then I can think a bit more on this point ;-) |

Posted - 13 Jun 2007 : 10:50:25 Hi Davide, Thanks for answering but i'm afraid you did not quite understand my point. When i work on a (new) site i keep making little changes on a lot of pages. This means that after some time the option "Files changed today" will still publish nearly all pages in the project. That is why i asked for some 'fine tuning', like have the opportunity to publish only files that were changed in the last 15, 30 or 60 minuten or so.

Posted - 13 Jun 2007 : 08:32:33 There is already this feature, in the "Publish Project" dialog simply choose "Files changed today" and the game is over ;-) |
