Posted - 31 Jul 2011 : 22:49:39 Since I'm building a site for church, Im back asking questions. Thanks to all who have helped. One more. The URL for the site is: www.biblebaptistofbeatrice.org It displays fine in most browsers, but the pastors computer, running XP with IE8 drops the word "church" down into the next line putting it in over the the yellow text "Beatrice, Nebraska" Can anyone tell me why this happens? I did my first site in 1997 in simple html, but am lost in all the new stuff. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. David |

Posted - 01 Aug 2011 : 09:22:55 IMO some fonts that you used "SegoeUI" for example are not websafe so in that XP system other fonts were used and the size of these fonts are not the same. I suggest you to:
- trasform the labels that use non Web Safe fonts to graphical labels
or
- Use Web Safe fonts (Arial, Tahoma, Verdana, etc...) |
