I have been using Perf Mon for a number of years on my Win 8 laptop and Win 7 desktop. A few months ago the processor cores stopped working on the Win 8 machine. They all stayed at 0% all the time. I tried deleting Proc Mon and re-installing to no avail.

Just recently the same thing happened on my Win 7 machine. I suspect that Micro$oft is dorking around with the access parameters for the processor cores.

Does anyone else who monitors the individual processor cores have the same problem, or NOT have the same problem? It would be really weird if I had an identical problem on both of my system.

Thanks,
LesB
